Notions Armor is the brain child of Anthony and
Gracelyn Catania. Gracelyn had grown up in an
era where you didn't run to the store for clothes,
you made them yourself. Her Mother owned and operated
a small fabric shop.
After years of Gracelyn trying to "find herself"
her life came full circle as it always does. She
found herself working for a fabric/notions company.
As she got ready for a sewing/quilting class her
small 5 1/2" designer scissors poked through
her sewing tote, scratching her. Her husband looked
at her in a peculiar way. His thoughts were with
everything that is on the market today why don't
they make anything to shield and protect all those
sharp items you carry around? An idea was formed.
It took three years to take Gracelyn's design
along with Anthony's support and financial backing
to make her designs a reality. From engineers,
CAD designs, prototypes, colors, manufacturing,
packaging and then finally to market.
